Semana passada estive em Belo Horizonte pintando um mural no SESC Palladium, parte do festival Verão Arte Contemporânea. O mural, entitulado “Tropikania”, dialoga de forma quase irônica com o Tropicalismo e a imagem de país tropical do Brasil.

Last week I was in the city of Belo Horizonte painting a mural at SESC Palladium cultural center, part of the “Verão Arte Contemporânea” festival. The mural, entitled “Tropikania” dialogues in a almost ironically way with Tropicalism and the tropical country image of Brazil.
Acabei de receber no correio a edição especial de street art da Art-Magazin, revista alemã. A edição tem uma matéria sobre a cena de arte urbana em São Paulo na qual, junto com outros artistas, falo um pouco da minha experiência vivendo e trabalhando a quatro anos nessa cidade.

Ainda na Argentina, agora na cidade de Córdoba. Vim participar do projeto Oficio, organizado pela Galeria Kosovo. Durante o projeto, em distintas semanas, artistas ficam alojados na galeria e realizam murais em General Paz, bairro onde fica localizado a Kosovo. Pintei um mural as margens do Rio Suquia, Rio que corta a cidade de Córdoba.

Still in Argentina, now in the city of Cordoba. I am here to participate on the Oficio project, organized by Kosovo Gallery. During the project, in distinct weeks, artists are hosted in the gallery and paint murals in General Paz, the neighborhood where Kosovo is located. Estive esse mês em Mendoza, Argentina, participando do festival Muropolis. Lá eu pintei um mural na fachada da Escola de Meninos Cantores de Mendoza. Um mural obviamente inspirado em compassos musicais.

Esse mês de outubro, estive em Barcelona para participar do Open Walls Conference, evento organizado pelo coletivo Difusor. Durante a conferência pintei um mural entitulado “Cosmos: Gatos e Pássaros” na Biblioteca Mercè Rodoreda.

This month of October, I’ve been in Barcelona participating on the Open Walls Conference, an event organized by the Difusor collective. During the conference I painted a mural entitled “Cosmos: Cats and Birds” at the Mercè Rodoreda Library.

Nos dias 18 e 19 de outubro ocorreu, no Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, a segunda edição do Arte Core, festival de cultura urbana organizado pela Galeria Homegrown, que abrange artes visuais, musica, skate e outras manifestações artísticas. Nessa edição, apresentei o objeto/escultura em madeira pintada “Mãe e Filha”.

On the 18th and 19th of October took place, at the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro, the second edition of Arte Core, a festival of urban culture organized by Homegrown Gallery, covering visual arts, music, skateboarding and other artistic manifestations. In this edition, I presented the object/sculpture in painted wood “Mother and Daughter”.
